I came across a FIsher MC-2500 Receiver(tuner). I couldn't fins any information on it so I passed. The owner was asking $50.
It had a silver face plate, here's a link to an image. http://oldaudioarchives.com/images/f/Fisher_MC-2500_Martin.jpg

I'm mostly into 70's pioneer gear, but always on the lookout for early tube stuff. But wasn't sure what to make of this, as I am a bit new to this.

Any one know anything about it?

Looks like it's one of the Sanyo built ones. Pretty chintzy. I'd pass at practically any price.

Fisher made nice US built, solid state receivers up to about 1971 after which they were sold to Emerson and were Japanese built. Still pretty well made but after 1975, they were sold again, to Sanyo. The quality went from decent on a few to mediocre or worse on the rest.
