I looked up Fisher Speakers
I have the model stv-875
I have a matching set, maximum power 100 watts each.
I bought the complete Fisher Studio Standard stereo system with amp, tuner, turntable and dual cassette with these same speaker boxes, which my ex-wife promptly stole while I was at work.
Since then I've gradually found the amp and other components just by searching used stereo gear different places. This set of 875 speakers was given to me by my father in law, my opinion, they kick butt.
15's in the bottom make all the difference, completed by 5" and tweeter in each.
They didn't get very good reviews on forum but I think they are much more than a small party speaker, they fill my 20' x 50 ' shop with great sound, Jonathan1234

Welcome to AK :)

We all hear differently, and whats important is that you like them.

Check out the Fisher subforum here for good info. I had 2 one-owner sets of the large STV's; the big 15" woofers in the 3-way ported boxes got real loud and could easily fill a large area with sound with very little power needed.

Have fun and enjoy them!

image.jpg Fisher's rack speakers can sound real good , for what they are (STV series are Sanyo speakers with a Fisher name tag) I've gifted a couple sets to family and friends and they liked them just fine , I think they sounded really nice too , they were DS series ( roadside finds ) all that aside what really matters is how they sound to you in your set-up ( DS-826's and Pioneer SX-1000 , nice sounding combo , given to a cousin a while ago, last time I was over my sisters he had them playing , still sounding nice.
