fisher x-1000 on the bay

From what I understand, this x1000 his is a first or early second generation fisher integrated amplifier. It's basically a simpler 400 stereo preamp with an sa-100 amp built in - single rectified over 4x7189s. Supposedly, they sound awesome. (I have an sa-16, 4x7189, dual rectified console amp that's really smooth. the X-101 came later, but is basically identical. Later, the x-1000 evolved into the venerable EL-34 x-1000 - a top of the line integrated unrivaled in complexity by anything fisher, or any manufacturer, ever built. Here's a bit of info on last tube version they made. Good luck!

thank you for the responce... i guess my question does come down to is the preamp section between the x-101 and x-1000 the same. the 101's don't seem to draw near the money as the 1000, then again the 1000 is definately more of a rare bird.
I have a x-202 first generation, i also wonder how that fits into the schem of things. they all appear to have basically the same sized iron and are el84 amps. i geuss i will have to look at a few schematics..

The selector switch/driver tube assembly looks like it was pulled directly off of the 400-C.
