Fisher X-202 Balance control

I've been looking for a Balance control for a Fisher x-202. Not the x-202 B or C.

This control is 500K w/100k taps. The carbon elements are mirrored. They are two different elements. See photo.

Centralab part # 50160-37 is stamped on the case. There was one on the auction site a while back. If anyone knows where I might find one, PM me. Thanks!

Yea, we spoke a few times about this control. He doesn't have the control or the elements.

I have two of these X-202's. The photo showing the mirrored values is the correct configuration. Someone apparently had issues with the other potentiometer and installed a couple matching volume control elements, which doesn't work in Fisher's X-202 design.

I had no reason to buy the auction site control because at that time, I didn't have the 2nd amp, so...

I could bypass the balance control altogether with resistors, but I'd like to preserve the Amp's originality.

Needle in the haystack for sure.

Its probably a log / antilog, where a volume control is a dual log arrangement.

Its always the taps that are a problem with this stuff. An MN taper will generally sub OK for a log/antilog but I have no idea where to get pots with taps like this.

Other option might be a dual stepped attenuator, configured for log/antilog. Taps are easy there, but they tend to be larger so fitment is an issue.
