Fixing the SME 3009/3012 arm rest

Hi guys,

The arm rest on my SME 3009 is loose, in fact I can pull it out completely. If I push it back in it stays in place and "works" (i.e. supports the arm fine) but is still too loose and can be rotated around:


What is the proper way to fix it in place?

Look on the side there is a set screw that needs tightening. Left side facing the arm. you will see the hole. I believe it to be a 1.5mm set screw.

came in handy 8 years after the original post. my 3009 is a tad "road-worn"
