I bought this second hand turntable, that was very well taken care of, apart from having a few scratches. It is Fisher Quartz Semi-automatic stereo turntable MT 8360.
At the beginning everything worked perfectly fine, and I even managed to change its old cartridge by myself, but for some time the speed strobe started flashing (and it has nothing to do with the speed, because the fringes against the turntable still show, and are still accurately giving me the right speed) - and its not flickering like the bulb is going off - flashing and blinking in a really regular way. I'm pretty sure it's because something is wrong, but I'm not really sure what that is. I don't have a user manual, and I scoured the internet for possible manuals of similar models and maybe other cases where this has happened but I couldn't find anything.
As such, the turntable still works really great. I don't feel like the audio has changed much throughout, and the only problem I ever had was that at the beginning before this problem was a regular thing, it made a few weird noises, then the strobe started blinking. I turned it off for a while, and nothing happened again, except for this issue.
Does anyone know an answer to this, so I at least know what's going on with it, and whether there's something that needs to be fixed?
