Fluance RT-85 turntable hookup question

I have a Fluance RT-85 turntable going to a Project phonobox preamp that goes to a Yamaha AS-701 intergrated amp. I would like to add a Douk Audio T7 preamp equalizer to adjust the frequencies.. So could I go from the Fluance turntable to the Project phono preamp to the Douk EQ to the Tape 1 on the Yamaha intergrated amp?? Or is this wrong way to go about it? Or is this a bad idea all together? I’m new to vinyl and electronics.. I appreciate any helpful advice. Thanks

Yes, you could - or into any of the other line-level inputs. And no, that's not the wrong way, as there is no better way in this case. Can't tell, whether it's a good or bad idea, however, as I don't have any personal experience with that Douk EQ, so I can't judge its quality.

Greetings from Munich!
