Wow! Pretty steep price. I have a pair of these in the garage. Found a pair of the Walsh tweeters to replace my bad ones. I need to get off my back side and fix these!

They shouldn't really be considered steep in price compared to other vintage speaker prices.
These speakers are a early version of the vertically aligned Infinity Monitor IIa, which sound superb for a vintage speaker

The mids on the 2000II's are Peerless KO40 cones which do give them a different character than the Monitor IIa's with their dome mids. I ever so slightly favor my IIa's over the 2000II's most of the time (see pic at link below) but really like them both. Although the 2000II's are another example of a great but often ignored mid-70's Infinity speaker, the price for this pair does seem more than a bit overboard in my opinion even with two working Walsh's, and especially with an additional $150 for shipping them which in itself seems like a really bad idea so I hope the buyer was local.
