The Rube Goldberg-Machine video for Ok Go's "This too shall pass" which I can't stop watching. I make commercials for a living and I'm studying this thing trying to figure out where the cuts are. There HAS to be a ton of them. No way is this one take. Anyway...awesome. I like the song alright, but the video is just amazing.

I remember reading somewhere that for the final video it was done in one take. I may be mistaken though, but it does look seamless. Have you seen their treadmill video? Fun stuff.

I did a "continuous" shot sequence once (well, my director did, I just crossed my fingers) that was only 60 seconds, but involved about 100 people hitting there marks. We had to do that about 25 times to get it right. I can't imagine the relief on the crew when they got this down in one take, if that's the case (it may be, but man, that's a lot to go wrong). That would explain the clapping at the end!

I saw the same thing. It was either on Colbert, Letterman or Leno a couple of weeks ago. Big help, huh?
