have a chance to get these supper cheap pretty much free are they woth even doing an open baffle

Vintage Foster Speakers ~ Full Range, Tweeters, Horns & Crossovers

The full range measure 12" Wide X 8" Tall, Tweeters are 3.5" and the Horns are 3" X 7"

I can see a nice project coming...Did you get them on EBay? If so, I think I had the listing marked to check, and I totally forgot. Those oval full range drivers sound very nice, as well as the paper tweeters. I would save the horns for something else, or maybe use them and save the tweeters for something else, but you have very nice drivers for an Open Baffle project.
