Found a cool Motorola Golden Voice console today!

When I was a child in the early 1960s we had a Motorola television set, black and white of course. . Then when I was a teenager I got an eight track tape player for my car. It was made by Motorola and so labeled. The 8 track player never gave me a minutes problem, it simply got replaced by a cassette unit.

I never knew they made home stereos though. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, not the particular trip you posted , but you jogged my memory lane enough to shake some old treasures that are gone forever but not forgotten.

Nice looking little unit. I take it you are going to restore it and play mono records on it. Good for you. It would be very tempting, for me, to gut it and send the carcass to the landfill. I'm glad you cleaned it up - it looks sweeeet.

Kudos for keeping that one together! It reminds me a LOT of the little RCA's that are so collectible. Looks like some seriously NICE iron on there too!
