Found Telefunken Speakers

[evolute99]

I have a friend who found these speakers in a house what are they worth and would they be worth buying.

Mid century Telefunken

Not familiar with the larger ones but they sure have an AR-ish look to them. The smaller ones I've heard. They look great and sound OK. Heard them through a Telefunken tube receiver. Wouldn't give a lot of money for them though. Can't remember what impedance they were but might be 16 ohm.

I have a set of the smaller ones (RB-70's) in the kitchen connected to a Pioneer SX-550, They have a nice sound but I would consider them a second system speaker, Great in a bedroom but not what I'd use in a main system. They are a 2 way with an 8" woofer and an oval shaped tweeter.

"Klangbox". Funny how, to the English speaking, that doesn't sound like a great name for a loudspeaker.

[Omegaman]

I have a similar pair branded by Grundig
They are 6 ohm
