Frazier Whatzits

DonQuixote99

just give me some truth
These are described on CL as "Frazier Dallas Texas model VR 1 6 ohm 80 watts serial # 010130 and 010131. 21.5 H 13.5 W 11D" They tried to identify them precisely, but I can't actually find a Frazier VR referenced anywhere, or any other likely parsing of that...

Looked at a lot of pics and don't see a Frazier with the grill flush with the top and bottom like shown, either.

Can anyone shed any light here? $125 asked. No affiliation.

Do the grills come off? If so a pix would be nice.

Opps, just noticed that they're on CL so a pix isn't possible.

An obvious guess would be Frazier mark V, but those are a little bigger and don't have the flush grills ... or a big port on the upper right, as seems to be visible here....

I have never seen real Fraziers with ports like that. Every pair of original Fraziers I've ever seen, have a Helmholtz slot/slots. Perhaps they are from the new Frazier, after Jack died. Although that logo looks correct. :scratch2: Look too small to be V, as well.
NOT real Fraziers, as per Todd Crane...

I too have never seen a port used on Frazier speakers. They do not look like the Model V speakers I have but the model line changed over time. My early Monte Carlos look quite different from the last ones made.

The Heritage had cabinets like that. Most likely AJD(After Jack Died) but before the new owners dumped the consumer products.
