My cousin has a big shop on a 40 acre farm outside of Dallas - I wonder if his wife would let him have 'em?

i know, my boss sits in arlington and i am tempted to call in favor. unfortunately shipping is problem as always. i contacted seller, i do not think he knows what they are.

We have contact....

I am sitting the Express Oil Change, getting ready for my road trip.

The owner called this morning and the speakers are still available. He is a young man and he and his wife just had a kid, so he lost his weight room to a nursery, which freed up these speakers. I will call him again tomorrow to see if we can stike a deal. Obviously, if someone comes along in the meantime, I understand if he sells them.

I am driving to Dallas to pick up my son. He has been spending the summer there with his cousins, one of whom is an excelleng bassist. His parents (my cousin and his wife) also play and sing, primarily folk music, sometimes performing at open mikes and at their church.

So, I want these speakers, but that one cabinet is huge! I am also picking up a Thomas the Tank Engine table and playset for my 4 year old to use (his cousins have outgrown them). All of this will not fit into the back of the Envoy. Part of me says to leave this with my cousin and his boys as a PA. With a good tube head, that 15" JBL would also make a great bass cabinet.

Thoughts on the subject?

More will be revealed............

Hmmm, and no mention of Dallas Frazier, the writer of the song "Alley Oop"??? First thing that popped into my head...

Those Frazier F12-4H speakers clean-up very nicely, in a kind of "industrial chic" sort of way.
