Fredericksburg CL: McIntosh treasure.

There is a phone number supplied.

It was from an ad such as this that I got my McIntosh stack. I saw the ad the first day of listing but figured it would all be too much for me. I decided to contact him on the second day and ended up doing three transactions with the seller.

It might be legit, but you won't know unless you try.

I dunno - its a DC number for a Fredericksburg sale ...
and no pictures or any verifications, per se -
but I tend to be suspicious and paranoid ...

Googled the phone # and it turns out it’s the same guy as in this thread:

Ah- he's BACK!! Vernon Vogt, who does business as ArchaicAudio and posts long ramblings lists of esoteric and almost usable gear anywhere he can find that allows posting a free ad!
His lists were USUALLY IN ALL UPPER CASE!

For a while I thought he was just acting as an "agent," posting gear other people owned and hoping to get a slice of them when they sold.
