Free AR 4Ax speakers

[Brad Muller]

I found a free pair of AR 4Ax speakers. I guess they weren't totally free. The guy wanted me to bring him a chocolate bar. He said the tweeters weren't working. It turns out that they are. Everything works and they are in great shape, missing only one badge. It's another lucky day! I've got a KA-8300 to grab tomorrow, not free, but close. Cheers, Brad

Nice grab...very jealous!

The AR 4AX speakers sound very nice. I was suprised. I picked up a pair of AR 2AX speakers last year and got them going again. The 2AX needed surrounds, but the 4AX were just fine. I guess I'm an AR kind of guy now. It only took $10.00 and a chocolate bar to acquire the pair! Gotta jam, Brad

Nice grab, indeed! These little guys would prolly benefit greatly from new x/o caps and cleaned (or new) pots. Course, you prolly knew that . BTW, I have a spare grill badge (somewhere), if you want it. - Mark
