Stereo Show - Calgary - Sun. Aug. 30th
The first of many, every month we will be renting part of the Ballroom at the Carriage House Inn for one day. We will set up three different systems with both vinyl and CD, Tube and Solid State in at least 2 of the systems. We may even have our 80w Class A x 6 Channel Audiophile Home Theatre system setup.
Great opportunity just to come and hang out with fellow music lovers and audiophiles. Bring your own music. The concept is to hear some great gear, explore the differences between SS and Tube, CD or vinyl in the same system.
We will start inviting others to show there gear there as we build this up. Maybe one day even a Western Canada AudioFest eh!
Attendees are welcome to bring some vintage gear along if they want to try and sell it. We will have a few extra tables set up for that.
There is a paid hotel bar, but not in the room
There will be records there for sale, mostly EX condition vinyl or better.
Hope to see you there.
First Date: August 30th, 2009 (Sunday) Time: 10am to 6pm
Address: Carriage House Inn, ground floor ballroom. 9030 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, Ablerta
