Hello everyone , fresh fish here , always had an active interest in audio electronics. I remember drooling over most of the audio equipment people are working on here when it was brand new. I was a copier / printer / network / cash machine / robotics tech for over 40 years , recently retired. While I have alot of experience troubleshooting it's been years since I've needed or used schematics or did any component level replacement other than chips in sockets, everything is pretty much PCB replacements for the last 30 years of so , electronics school was a long time ago.

Hoping to lean on the wealth of knowledge and resources here to learn as much as possible as I dive into some restoration type projects now that I have time to enjoy such things. So far I'm in a learning curve and short some equipment, component level trouble shooting is my weak area. I guess I need a new challenge to pass the winter months.

Have a daughter and 2 granddaughters I see often, and go see their dance competitions or play volleyball & softball. I enjoy motorcycles , football ,Music , technology, guns, classic cars , home projects ,and of course audio equipment , especially vintage , the usual stuff I suppose LOL
Another Iowa guy . . . .

looking forward to being here , hopefully I can contribute as well.
