Hi,
I am looking for helping in ID'ing a pair of Fried speakers I owned in the early 90's. They were the A series bookshelf speakers and were purchased from a retail store (Audiolab in Cambridge, MA) in 1992/1993. My question is were these likely A/3s or was their an A/4. Looking back the Fried nomenclature is a bit confusing.
I purchased a pair of Q/3's a few years ago which I recently refoamed the drivers on. They sound great, but I know the Fried released the next gen Q/4's around the time I am asking about. I think the Q and A series had the same drivers with the A series being larger, but I'm not sure.
To complicated maters, the A5+ refer to larger speakers from Fried. So, any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have a pair of A/3+ speakers for sale I would be interested (I live in the Boston metro area), and I'm always on the lookout for the larger and rarer Fried speakers.
Thanks!
Gary
