Friend at work is now a proud owner of La Scalas

...near Frank's Pizza!
Had fun tonight running down to Eugene from Portland to look at some La Scalas with a good friend from work. When we arrived we found them a bit rough on the outside but all original, consecutive numbers, and sounding just fine. They were built in 1980, like my Cornwalls. He had no problem deciding they were for him. He paid and we loaded them up (big and heavy, wow) and drove back to Portland. I got a free dinner for my assistance and had a nice little road trip helping to further the cause and turning someone on to Klipsch speakers.

Hello Everyone, I'm the good friend of 131east23 who recently helped me picked up a pair of 1980 Klipsch LaScalas. I see people are wanting to see pictures. I finally have them set up so here ya go.

Got some chips and dings but sound amazing!
Will listen to them for a year or so and then maybe do a crossover upgrade from Crits or ALK and then maybe resurface the cabinets.

Hooked up to an Onkyo TX-SR607 with an older Klipsch KV-2 Center, Klipsch .5 bookshelf loud speakers for surrounds and Klipsch SW-10 from the 1990's.
