Hey folks,

I was recently shopping for a turntable, and although my purchase turned out to be a bust I found the discussions on this site to be really informative. So I thought I'd join up!

I've been a DJ at WXYC and with the Guybrarians, but recently my revitalized interest in vinyl has been fueled by a new record store called All Day Records. If you're ever driving through the piedmont of North Carolina, you owe it to yourself to stop in and see this place. Great dollar bins, rare records, and some used turntables and other assorted audio equipment.

I was just sitting at Weaver Street Market having a breakfast there last Sunday morning. I was clearing out my father's house for a sale- probably my last trip down there.
I also went to a used store there (or is it in Chapel Hill?) at the 'Y' on Frankin St. near the old train station. Is that the one to which you refer? Lotsa stuff in that one; used records, cassettes, 8-tracks, books... just a nice way to spend a few hours.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks, glad to see some other locals!

Also, forgot to mention my favorite part of All Day. I love what they did with the mounting the record holders on the walls. Very reminiscent of old record stores from the 50s and 60s.
