From George's Jukebox

It would have been George Harrison's birthday a few days ago.. I am a big fan of George, in his time with The Beatles, The Traveling Wilbury's and his solo career. Here is a list of the records that were on George's jukebox from his life at Friar Park..
I thought it might be of interest ..

That's a 1955 Wurlitzer jukebox you posted. Has 200 selections (holds 100 records). There is two title strip booklets on each side of the center stationary title strip holder. Each title strip booklet operates at a push of a button to flip the pages.

I recall similar jukeboxes from my days as a youth. My first (illegal) trip into a local tavern was 1965 or '66, and they had a similar looking unit.
BTW, #11, Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny sounds great even on this computer! A little before my glory days... I was born in '49, but I used to hear it in the lowriders of the older guys.
I might have to seek out some Santo & Johnny vinyl!

I was born in '61 but I do remember some of those '50's jukeboxes at places to eat when I was a kid.
