FURMAN TX-3 TUNABLE CROSSOVER H.E.L.P!

I have been having some issues with the plate amp on my 10" KLH Subwoofer... I suspect that it's not long for this world. But I don't want to throw it out. I redid the cabinet some time ago, and the woofer itself is in perfectly good condition. I have been happy with the sound. I was looking around my shop over the past few days and I came across some components that may or may not work in place of the existing plate amp and this is where I need help. I have a Yamaha MX M70 monoblock amp which I think should probably be sufficient to drive the subwoofer. But the issue has been first off the crossover itself and secondly, the transition from stereo to Mono which is where the Firman Crossover hopefully comes in. I picked it up a long time ago and it's been sitting on the shelf unused ever since. Electronically it seems to be ok. The Transformer works and the pots all work. But I do not have a manual and I cannot find one to download. In fact it is old enough that Furman no longer has the manual available for download... so, does anyone have a manual or does anyone have a tx3 crossover, and can you tell me if I would be able to put a stereo input to it and using the mono switch go out to the subwoofer with the signal already set to the appropriate cutoff point by using the crossover itself?

The TX-3 had no provision for mono summing outputs. The mono switch puts the unit into a 3 way mono vs. 2 way stereo configuration.
Also, I do believe they only use second order filters.
