Fusing a Peerless KO10DT Tweeter

I'd like to protect the Peerless KO10DT tweeters in my Cizek III speakers with fast-blow fuses. Does anyone know if other manufacturers who used these tweeters (like Polk) used fuse protection and if so, what value of fuse? The Cizeks are crossed over at 1500 Hz and the tweeters are supposedly rated at 55 watts.
