G-X700 Big knobs

This question has been asked before elsewhere, but has never received a certain answer, so I'll ask here: which G-X700 receivers have knobs that will match a G-8700? I've heard two different accounts: that the 8700 and 9700 knobs are unique, or that the knobs from any G-X700 will fit. I don't know which to believe, but I hope the latter is true because G-4700's and 5700's show up all the time on eBay in broken condition, unlike the larger ones.

The volumn and tuning knobs for the G8700 and G9700 are larger than the rest of the GX7000 knobs. The G5700, 6700 and 7700 are basically the same. The volumn and tuning knobs from these models are smaller but match in style and are better than nothing.
