Gale GS401 speaker stands. How tall?

I've got a par of Gale GS401s that I bought new back in the early eighties. The ones with the chrome ends. I never bought the speaker stands for them, so I've never heard them "properly". Time to fix that. Does anyone know how tall the stands were that they sold with the speaker? And where can I get something of similar height able to hold these things?

any rigid spiked stand that stops the speaker rocking forward backwards or sideways should work...
as for height...basically you want the tweeter at close to ear height from your seated listening position..
 
I found some pictures on the web of the GS401s on the original stands. They appear to be about 2 feet high, and maybe tilted upwards slightly. I may try to come up with something similar to that....
