Garage sale cartridges

I ended up picking up a Shure V15 type III LM with a new generic stylus, M95ED with a R6X stylus, Pickering XV15 750E with it's OEM stylus, and an Empire S2000 E/III with a stylus I could not identify. All for $160. I later went to another garage sale and found a V15 Type III with a broken cantilever for $20, and an in box VN45HE for $30. How'd I do?

Checked the coils and all of them have good ohm readouts!

Hmmm - garage sale prices ain’t what they used to be. I used to find the “turntable stuff” box at estate sales and buy it for a buck or two.

You did ok if ur happy with them that’s all that matters. I’m sure they’ll be of good use.
