This year I went in a different direction. New speakers, new amp and a new digital player. Speakers are 45 year old DLK/1, the amp is a S.M.S.L 98E and a new digital player also by S.M.S.L is the DP-1 that can also play USB jump drives. There are also 3 FM tuners in the system, all switched to the amplifier thru a cheapie RCA switch box.







More then enough power, the digital amp is perfect for the garage.

Ah, someone who still listens to FM. Are the tuners for different listening/DXing etc. or just because you can?

Well, I have so many.....its justifying the quantities I guess, but they do sound a bit different from each other. Each one is tuned into a different station, tho the Yamaha is analog. The Denon has RDS so the tunes are displayed during broadcast.

The flash drive player is killer.

Time for some big-ass 6ft tall towers in the front and move those into the rear speakers position. ..lol
