Garrard 4HF lookalike?

The TT in this picture (from the web) has the basic form and colour of my Garrard 4HF.
It is the first time I see a TT that resembles a Garrard 4HF.

What is it and which was first?
Did Garrard copy it's looks or was it the other way around?
Are there more TT's resembling these basic looks (was there an era that these looks were more common)?

Have fun

It appears to be a cast platter, rather than the stamped platter of the 4HF. But the cosmetics clearly are related. I think the Garrard's look is better integrated than this table, but other tastes may differ.
Who made it?

The T and the TA both have the black/brown curved arm that the better Garrard changers of the day had, and stamped platters, so they aren't candidates.
There is something about the arm that reminds me of a Japanese arm I've seen pictured.
Its not easy to read it, but the badge under the arm sure looks like it says Lafayette.

Looked closer at the photo. Definitely a Japanese copy of the Garrard 4HF, likely done due to the success of the real one, as they were very popular in many countries in the world. Lafayette branded. Interesting.
