Garrard Lab 80 Assistance Needed!

Hi all:

I recently purchased a lovely 60's-era console that contained a Scott tube receiver and a Garrard Lab 80 turntable in beautiful cosmetic shape. I haven't tested it yet, but I want to get this table out of the console, up and running. I'll be needing to build some sort of base for the thing; does anybody have a template for this turntable? Any advice? Has anyone done this before with a Lab 80? Thanks in advance for any help/advice/warnings!

The Garrard is a nice turntable .Is it a regular Garrard Lab80 or a MK2 version?

Good question... I'll have to check. I think it's not a MK II but I don't recall...
