Garrard Lab 80 parts source?

Greetings.

I have a Garrard Lab 80 that I'm restoring. I need the arm rest and have posted on BT Parts, but no luck. Anyone know of a source for such parts?

Parts donor or NOS parts where you can find them. Not a common changer.

I have a donor that was wrecked in shipping. Unfortunately the arm rest is toast. This arm rest also has the down lever for the queing built in so unfortunately nothing else will work. I have parts but most everything topside on mine is ruined except the patter and switches.

Thanks, but found another cheap and the parts set had what I needed to make one good one. It's on my bedroom system now and I like it a lot.

Glad you found one, and you're back in business. The Garrard Lab 80 is a classic and performs well.

Yes it does. Too bad I don't have the parts the OP is needing. Actually I think I still may have them but as I remember the arm rest is broken at the base. If you have no other luck, I can surely sent it to you. Just let me know, no charge. That's if I can find it. I know it's been removed from the TT.

I'm intrigued by this Lab 80 and would like to get it going. I've read about the idea of building a plinth that would support the original table and arm plus add room for a second arm. Any thoughts on that idea?
