Garrard or Dual turntables any good?

Back in the '60s and '70s I recall hearing a lot about Garrard and Dual turntables, but I really don't know anything about them. I've heard that the Garrard 301 and 401 transcription turntables are pretty good, but what about other models (like the 95b)? I have some cool old turntables by Philips, Technics, Elac, Pioneer, Sonab... Should I consider adding a Garrard or Dual to my collection? Any recommendations? Thanks.

The best Dual ever, the 1019. A ultimate refinement of the 1000 series platform. Second best 1009. The record changer/single play turntables which Garrard never could better due to corporate bean counter interference. The last great Garrard changer (when you got a good one) was the LAB-80. From then on, the path was downhill gradually. The Garrard AT-6/AT-60 family were excellent, simple, medium price changers. But the caveat is they don't work reliably tracked lighter than 2.5 grams.
