Garrard synchro-Lab 72B trouble

My father in law gave me his old Garrard Synchro-Lab 72 B last night and I broke the tone arm before I could clean it up to get it working. We had too much crap in the car I should have waited to pick it up later. image.jpg Can I apoxy this back on? The tone arm looks like it's aluminum but I think it's plastic.
