I make a video that documents the repairs done to the Garrard, mostly gummed up and seized mechanics causing the issues. The rummer is still tired though but now operates good enough..

mine actually has an original idler still, but its rare for those to still be good after all this time. If its only a little tired you may be able to lightly sand it, or use some of that rubber renew stuff to get it happier.

I've watched all of it. Nice! Concise and coherent plus excellent photography. Good job!
BTW: I think (totally not sure) Garrard is pronounced like Garfield with a hard 'G' - right?
Anyway, our UK pals should know...
