That's a beauty!Will do - they are a pair (I assume) of multicap cans with 8uf / 16uf @ 450v in each. I'm going to wire in 10uf / 20uf replacements rated at 500v as I simply cannot get the multicaps anywhere in NZ. I hope the slight increase in capacitance isn't a big deal (and I suppose with tolerance at 10% or so, it should be fine). I really need to find a nice full range driver for the speaker cabinet now.....
Using a 10uf first cap should be fine but don't go any higher. The data sheet for the rectifier specifies 8uf but the circuit doesn't seem to be drawing as much current as is allowed, so you should be fine.
Is the metal coned speaker missing from the cabinet?
