Hey folks,
I was out thrifting today and I stumbled across a General Electric CD player I'd never seen before.
The front was totally unmarked, but on the back it showed that it was a General Electric 3-7000A Manufactured in May of 1984!
So this thing is celebrating its 39th birthday this month.

I figured, hey for 10 bucks it was worth a gamble and took it home.

Wiped it down, Replaced the sled motor belt and fired it up, and this thing works PERFECTLY.
It's in fantastic shape, no damage, no rust, and the VFD is still extremely bright and sharp!

Problem is, I can't find any information about this thing, Anyone have any magazine ads or period reviews for this unit? Spec sheets? etc?

Would Love to know more, or if you have one yourself.
