Genesis Tech Metal post-Kappa Polydome

What do we know about this? I'm aware they exist because I've seen them in Nudell era Genesis Tech speakers on the web but I wasn't aware they appear to closely match the Kappa Polydomes from the rear. I can't imagine they perform like drop-in Kappa Polydome replacements simply because of the stark difference in dome material let alone the unknown similarities or differences in the rest of the mechanics.

Notably these are available from Michael Marks. Read the description text. Bob Douglas AVA (Bobbyd38) it would be good to hear your opinion of these drivers, please.

I tried them in my k9's and although they had much greater detail than the polydome, the low end needs to be crossed over much higher because they lack the lower frequencies of the polydome and they go higher in frequency than the polydome so they will need to be cut off with a steeper crossover slope or they will sound too bright, definitely not a drop in for the kappas, plus the mounting holes are slightly off, if I remember correctly like an 1/8 inch smaller bolt pattern, I made a few videos of them comparing them to the polydome and the RSDS polydome, take a listen

Some pretty bold claims made in the description. At $800 for a pair I think I'll stick with the "inferior" options.

I paid $500 for the pair directly from Genesis, If they were crossed over properly like they are in Genesis speakers then they sound better than the polydome, they actually sound more detailed like my EMIM's,

I have one I picked up. It's much brighter than a regular poly. Since he wants to be classless and call people out, I'll just point out this guy hosed me on a set of silicone domes. He's a piece of work.
