I inherited from my father these Georgian speakers. We traveled to MS this past weekend and picked them up. A little history about them: the first one was built in the mono days probably the late 1950’s to early 1960’s. The second one in the early 1970’s. The first speaker had all Georgian components originally. When he built the second one, he couldn’t find Georgian parts, so he used all Klipsch components. He couldn’t find the original brass handle parts or the criss cross for the midrange panel, thus they are missing. Afterwards, he installed all Klipsch parts in the original, but we did get the original Georgian parts. We would love to find the criss cross and brass handle parts so if anyone has a source we would greatly appreciate any info. Our plans are to restore them to their original look. They are true mahogany. We would like to go back to the natural look. We would also like to find original grill cloth. Thanks for your help.
