Getting there...ST35 Project

Steve-H

Burnin down the house
All,
Im about 80% done on my ST35 board. I am still waiting for my coupling caps, some 3w resistors, and my tube sockets to arrive. Then I'll get cracking on finishing up my enclosure and figuring out my rectification circuit. Here's a sneak peek though:

That's the DIYtube ST-35 board, no? I love mine. Great amp, and a relatively easy project. Plays great with my Bottlehead Foreplay III kit preamp. Aint kit building fun?

What transformers did you elect to use? What are you doing as far as a case? I found that for my case, it was better to get the fit with the tube sockets "loose" on the PCB, then I soldered them in place once they were where I wanted them. That way they still had a little play, and I could position them just so once I saw how they mated up with the chassis.

Here's a link to a directory of pics of my finished amp. Good luck, let us know how things turn out!

Hrmm

Yup, it is the DIY board. Im going to run a Hammond transformer (using a tube rectifier), and triode's OPT's.

BTW - you're link didn't come through...

Thanks !
Steve
