Getting varnish off?

anderslober

Yikes...not again!
Hello Forum.....I have a qrx9001 that I am putting the finishing touches on....however the case is covered in some really shiny varnish, that I would like to remove. I like the more 'natural' look of wood.......so......I need a way to get this off without damaging the case.

Paint stripper sounds harsh?...just sand it off?.....is there a 'secret' way?

thanks.......

Try Formby's finish restorer. Follow the instructions. It won't pull the filler out of the wood.

Easy way... apply a coat of finish in satin, semi-gloss, matte, eggshell, etc.

More work... rub down with 'rottenstone' or 'pumice' a felt pad on a block with water or oil.

ok...I will try a couple of the methods...........I will try to a picture of before and after.

thanks.......
