The turntable needs a complete servicing.

Speakers are missing, which leads into next question, can this turntable be used with a separate/external amp?

Also providing it is worth mending/servicing, what would be a optimal stylus for V-15HB/AT2 or replacement cartridge?

Any thoughts on this model?

Cartridge options are what came with it unless the earliest changer was fitted. Stanton 400 stylus will fit it or the 500 V3 styli.

It is an acceptable table. You could find some efficient speakers and use it that way.
