Great taste there. Too bad going through auction. So, how does one usually do at those auctions? Never been. If bids are low, does the company step in? are there reserves?

Usually sales that are true auctions say that explicitly. This listing says the company does auctions, but I think this sale has the prices set by the seller. Typically in that kind of sale there is higher pricing which gets marked down as the sale proceeds. 50% off on the last day is common. For a true auction, there is usually a reserve. You might want to start a thread on that topic, what happens at auctions. I haven't been to one in years but I got a great score so I've been watching ever since! I hope someone gets a bargain on that Fisher; I don't get the impression the sellers realized it is valuable.

Depends on your perspective, i guess. If you've been rich for generations, I would imagine you would consider anyone who earned their riches in their lifetime are newly rich. If you got your riches 20 years ago, you would probably consider any 15 years and younger rich to be newly rich?
