Hi all -
I scored a minty pair of Polk LS70's today. I'd never heard any of the LS before (huge SDA fan) but I'm pretty impressed thus far. I agree with what I've read on here about them - pretty directional and boomy bass, but we'll work on that later.
For the moment, the issue I've discovered is a rattling in one (possibly two) of the 8" MW8100 woofers. I prepared myself for the worst as I pulled a driver out and I think what I'm hearing is that it appears that the spider has come unglued from the basket
Wiping sweat from the brow in relief, I'm curious: what's the best adhesive/glue for reattaching the fabric spider to the metal basket? I think that may be all that's hindering these beautiful Polks from singing at their best once again...
Thank you in advance!
