Go Terriers!

[Urizen]

My Alma mater (class of '82), Wofford College, is having a hell of a year.

Wofford is the smallest school in Division I, enrollment wise.

Any other SoCon fans around?

I could care in the least about sports, but any college with a terrier for a mascot has to be OK. :thmbsp:

The Terriers clinched at least a share of the Southern Conference Championship today, defeating Chattanooga, 42-16.

App State fan here. Lots of family ties to the school (both parents and one sister completed Bachelor's degrees; second sister went to grad school; both parents retired professors; one cousin enrolled currently as an undergrad).

Go Mountaineers!!

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Michael Hobbs scored on a 6-yard run with 32 seconds remaining Saturday to lift Wofford to a 23-22 upset of previously unbeaten Montana in the first round of the FCS playoffs.

Third-seed Montana (11-1) had a chance to win the game on a 47-yard field goal with four seconds remaining, but Dan Carpenter's kick pulled left.

Wofford (9-3) advances to the second round of the playoffs against Richmond.
