Going to first unread reply

On most Xenforo sits when you click a bold title,you goto the first UNREAD reply since yuor last visit and it used to be that way here when we went to Xenforo but for the last few months it doesnt,it goes to the first post on the thread!

Can Wards please l00k into this for me??

If you click on a thread that you have already read, you will be taken to the first post. If you click on a thread that has posts that you haven't read, you will be taken to the first unread post.

I think it always used to be that way for me, but now if someone posts on say a year old thread I go to the first page.
I'm not sure how old a thread needs to be, but this is has been happening to me for a few weeks/months? now.

I've experienced the same thing. It doesn't seem to be consistent, sometimes it works as it should, sometimes not.
I usually check Alerts first, which should always go to the first new post. Mostly it goes to the last.
I do most of my browsing on my phone. The first new post button is way too tiny of a target for my fingers.

I clicked on a 3 month old post that had new responses last night, I was sent to the first post.
No big deal, but it just started no too long ago for me.

Failing that, just take a wild guess and go w/ the flow ... so you (re)read a few posts? It's okay, sometimes they make more sense @ a second + review (-;
