Gold Lion Reissue KT88s Approaching 4000 hours

Hi tube heads,

I just wanted to post and say that as my Gold Lion reissue KT88s approach the 4000 hour mark (2 years of use), they are sounding stronger and fuller than ever (knock on wood). I'm running them in a McIntosh MA2275 integrated amp and I've been told that Mac amps don't push tubes too hard, so I'm hoping I can get them to 5000 hours or more.

How long have you had these Gold Lion reissues last?

Whoa, that's about five and half hours of use EVERY day!

Yeah,
I'm unemployed and I use my amp for at least 8 hours per day, most days.

If I don't find a job soon, I may have to sell this beautiful Mac amp.

Nice! Seems like most posts related to tube life are when they let you down. Always nice to hear when they're doing their job!
