I had bought 20 brand new (Not NOS.) 10 1/2" reels of blank tape that turned out to have an ugly shed issue.:sigh: Man, was I torqued 'cuz new tape is NOT cheap!!
:gigglemad
But before I went through the trouble and expense of shipping it back to the vendor, I went to the tape forum and sought the advice of our resident tapeheads.:scratch2:
Goldear came to the rescue with advice on how to properly "bake" the tape
using a food dehydrator---sounds wierd, but it works! It saved me the trouble of returning nearly $600 worth of RTR tape.:thmbsp:
All Hail the Mighty Goldear!
And, again, Thanks Man!
