Mine is a Yamaha YP-B2 and i have an Audio-Technica AT95e,it's a very musical cartridge,that does everything well,plus it's cheap

The Shure M97xE is a good choice when used with the damping brush down (it’s slightly too compliant for the tonearm if used without the brush). The Audio Technica AT-95E is an excellent choice, and a good match for the tonearm. Other cartridges which have a suggested best tracking weight of about 2-2.5g would have the right compliance to be a good match with the tonearm.

A headshell to suit can be bought from most places that sell them, including online sellers such as Needle Doctor, LPGear, or quite a few Ebay sellers. It's just a universal plug in headshell, used on many turntables over the years. Probably one that weighs about 10 grams would be similar to the original.

The user manual, if you need one, can be obtained from http://www.vinylengine.com/library/yamaha/yp-211.shtml .

Thank you for the advice and link to the manual.. I am very hapy with the Yammy so far. The previous owner was in the middle of a restore, so i am undoing some of the mistakes he made.. and trying not to make my own.. I also would like to know about different lubrication for the mechanicals.
thanks again
