Good cheap source for Pioneer speaker plugs

Akai also used the exact same plugs at one time. I have an AS-980 quad receiver that uses them. Very minor difference in the blades, but both interchangeable. May be cheaper to look for Akai plugs, who knows? Fewer of them on the market compared to Pioneer. Ymmv, of course.

So -- I have (literally) never thought about this before, but is the spacing of the two connectors on the old Pioneer plugs the same as that of a (US) 20A AC mains plug?
I considered this, but every 20A plug I could find online was both too big and quite expensive.

I was hoping I could get ahold of some OEM Pioneer Speaker plugs on the cheap,

$30 is cheap these days. Were you thinking that the old price of 5 a pop would be ok? That is getting lucky pricing. I even think the Pioneer price was higher than that the last time they had them available which was this century. Good luck, Maybe you can buy singles as every two you buy adds up to a pair and most with only one would make a pair of replacements.
