Good source for replacement Akai belts?

I purchase a small lot of Akai equipment. One of the pieces of equipment was an Akai GXC-706D cassette deck. The drive belt is stretched and worn. It doesn't have any traction. I would like to replace it because the deck seems to be in great shape. Can someone here point me to a good source of replacement Akai belts?

So far I have only found two.

The first is Marrs Communications.

The second is Vintage Electronics.

Thanks! :-)

Often, when belts are shot, other rubber parts will also be in need of replacement: pinch rollers and idler tires. I would purchase those items as well.

Is there a complete rubber refit kit available or do I need to buy the rollers separately?

You will need to buy the idler tires and pinch roller separately.

This company sells generic tires and p rollers, but you will have to see if any will fit your deck. If not, you sometimes can resurface your idlers (if bad) with course sandpaper.

I guess you can start with new belts, and then see if you need the p roller and idler tires. Often, you do.
